Blog 0 Suitcase Squashing 20th May 2014
Monday 26th May...Scurrying about getting last minute luggage (ghastly new suitcase from Dunelm) and trying to find places to stow delicate stuff like the laptop. Sue and Rae have kindly offered to take us to the Station with our 32 kilos of luggage so no need to struggle on to the number 22 bus.
Dad and I went to Heathers house on Saturday and while John and I battened and boarded the landing ceiling Grandad sanded the new door frames and then tackled the waist high nettles in the garden and pruned the large conifer in the back garden...here he is on his knees.
We'll be staying on the Cube at Jonathan and Helen's tonight and then heading for Heathrow in time for lunch on Tuesday. The 10 hour British Airways flight for Seattle leaves at 3:00 p.m and the Jacksons have kindly offered to pick us up and drive us to their home in Olympia.
I've drawn a new map to replace the old Europe route opposite but am struggling to embed the new code in the right place to show it on this page....will need Chris to help here I think! Or maybe Rhys now he is a an expert HTML coder!
