Sheffield - Loading the Van

Well, the van is packed with dozens of pairs of knickers, socks, checklists, a couple of tonnes of electrical equipment and a library full of fiction. Even Rosi's sewing machine is tucked away somewhere. We've just about finished preparing the house and flat for a year of abuse by our student offspring and the swimming pool is safely drained, although Rosi now points out that someone could fall in...can't win!

Bob and Jayne called round to say goodbye, hopefully we'll be able to meet up when they set off across France in their 'van next year, thanks again for the bottle of wine. Bev's Mum and Dad also called to say goodbye and brought one of the puppies called Pudding ( Chocolate Labrador) so if anyone wants a new puppy please contact Bev.

Now I must get on with lighting the barbecues for this evening's event

Brilliant BBQ despite the wet stuff, we all ran away without doing the washing up! Hope it's all clean by Xmas!
Waiting for the next installment,
